Default Install Complete! 442whp APS TT G35!!

I don't post much on this site but I thought you Z guys might be interested in what an APS TT can do on a G35. After a few delays, I'll be picking my car very soon from Genesis Racing Dev. in Naperville, IL. They've done a fantastic job so far.

Tuan/GRD tuned it on a 93 octane map with 9lbs of boost. As many of you may know, Tuan has been running his 350Z at 500whp for more than 11,000 miles on stock internals with no problems. After talking to him and Irshod at length, I feel confident that my stock motor will be fine with these numbers. Especially since I can get 94 octane in Ohio. Maybe in a year or two, I'll do the internals and go for 500+whp.

For a comparison, the baseline stock numbers in the lower portion of the dyno are from Tuan's Z before any his current mods. This shows his stock VQ on the dynapack ran around 240whp.

Keep in mind the power with the wheels on would bring those numbers down because of Rotating mass... Not downing your car or anything just stating a fact of that kind of dyno...

From what I've seen the Dynapack at GRD comes up with just about the same numbers as dynojets. Maybe they have a small correction factor for the lack of wheel mass.

Congrats man! I saw your car at GRD the other day, looked hot. When I talked to Tuan they told me that they had only gotten 430rwhp out of it...looks like they squeezed a bit more. Pretty nice.

Thanks, reading about your car made me feel comfortable with stock internals at this power level.

Thanks and I understand what you're saying but you need to look at my dyno. It shows a stock Z running 240whp which is 15-16% power loss from the crank. That is typical with most dynos.

Thanks Brian, it is Brian right? So you saw it? Did it look like it was well taken care of? Is yours done? Did you use GRD?

I bet you're right about that. It makes sense since their numbers are so close.

Yes..it's Brian. It was parked out front when I saw it...looked really clean. Mine is supposed to be done on Saturday, but I doubt that will actually happen since they didn't get it on the rack until last friday night and the motor wasn't even out of the car on tuesday when I stopped by to drop off my rear wheels with my DRs on them.

Great numbers! You'll love the performance.

On the Dyno Dynamics dynamometer, my RWHP baseline was 214 HP.....a 26% loss from factory specs. I wonder what my would be rated at now on a Dynapack or Dynojet.....maybe 10% more?

Thanks, I still want a ride in yours next time I'm in LV. Sounds right, so you should be around 440 as well. Maybe someone who really knows could chime in like UnderPressure?
