Yes it is. He made an almost identical post on this forum as did on the other one, and he even mispelled the word "disciple" as "decipal" the same way on both posts. What a genius.....

i read couple articles stating that anything above 380 whp will cause motors to throw rods. i had my car tuned at 350-355 whp at 5.5 lbs. i want more power but afraid of blowing my motor. reading your thread and seeing that you are boosting more, makes me wonder and wish if thats all possibly safe to do the same type of numbers with stock internals.

my question is, how reliable are your sources? and how long have these people been running with higher than 5.5 lbs on their motors? i have 22k miles on my car and no problems yet, but i'm yurning for more power.

are you using the APS kit tunning system?

Question ... what sort of engine management does the APS kit offer and how does it work out? Piggyback? Can you change any of the tuning?

The owner of GRD, Tuan that tuned this G35 and my car has been running 500whp on a stock motor Z for 11K miles...numerous other Z's have run well over 400whp for more miles than that.

What kind of engine management are these cars running?! I am having a difficult time getting a straight answer as to whether or not the ECU alters the timing map due to the values that piggybacks send or commonly referred to as "relearning."

The APS kit uses Unichip piggyback. The Unichip has the ability to retard timing.

It's done...I was there while Tuan tuned it tonight. Made 440rwhp on the second or third pull on 10psi really rich...and then he dialed it back to 9psi and gave it a fairly rich tune and it made 430rwhp completely heat soaked. I'm very happy with the car. The Drag Radials give it amazing traction. Still haven't broken loose in first, and I only get a little chirp into second.

It's really amazing how driveable and docile it is until it gets into boost.

I absolutely love it, and I'll post more tomorrow in a seperate thread.
