Default Att: Turbonetics ST Owners...

when you got the kit and you played with your turbo...

a) did your turbo have two feeds (oil in/out , water in/out)? Mine only has the oil... since it's a ballbearing, does it not require a water one as well?

b) when u spun the turbine... did it spin well? mine's kinda stiff...

c) did your OEM re-bar remain after the FMIC install? By the pics, it seems like it's still there because of the toe hook bracket... but the shop thinks it should come off judging by the manual...

I didn't really "play" with the turbo when I got mine, but I can answer your questions:

a) The turbo is not water cooled.

b) heh... trust me, exhaust gasses spin it easier than your fingers.

c) Not sure what you mean by re-bar, but the metal stock bumper brace is retained with this kit.

Turbo should not spin a bit rough as there is no oil in the bearing.

Only one drain and feed

You keep the crash bar

It should spin a little bit with a gentle spin on it. there shouldn't be alot of friction on it it should kinda glide

Sure, it depends when your car is ready... I might go to that meet, but I might have to go to Québec city too, ma father in law isn't well.
