My profec Eo1 makes a rapid ticking noise when I reach about 2lbs or more. I have to be at wide open throttle and building boost. There is no performance loss. I reach full boost. There is just a rapid ticking noise located in my dash right behind the profec Eo1 lcd display. What would make this noise?

 

this is totally normal..the sound is coming from the boost solenoid that connects to the vaccuum line ...the opening/adjusting of the solenoid is the ticking noise that you are describing.

 

hey ktown hows the z holding up? just wondering... oh i'm the one who installed it so just checking up on one of my projects!!

 

The z is running hard and fast. I have been beating up on some sport bikes at the track. Great job on the install! Thanks for checking up.
