Default How many APS TT are at 9.5 psi on stock engine?

I'm thinking of getting my boost up to 9.5 psi (from 8.5) and am wondering how many of you APS TT people are running 9.5 on 91 octane and for how long without or with issues.

I just made the move Friday. I was on 8.5psi for 7months 17k miles. I can't stop driving this thing, my car feels smoother and stronger at the same time. Im not sure how the guys at Zcargarage managed this but man this tune is awesome... I hope they can do the same for everyone who gets the APS.

9.5-10 lbs. 402 HP, 410 TQ on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno, which would probably come in at about 440-450 on a Dynojet. Runs smooth as silk, no issues, 91 octane.

I have a 9lb setting and an 11lb setting, I run the 9lb setting 99% of the time and on the track, but I'm tuned on 93 octane.

Are all of you running 9.5 on the tune that was provided with APS, or was it retuned on the dyno?

What kind of tuning software is being used to tune the APS kit? I had though that it was a set tune out of the box and not able to be changed. Keep in mind, I am out on the East Coast with minimal shop support.

The APS kit uses the Unichip piggyback engine management. It is NOT user programmable. You have to be an APS authorized dealer to get the software to tune it. There are a couple shops on the east coast that are APS dealers. One being www.xxtuning.com in East Hartford, Conneticut. You can find more dealers on the APS website.

awesome. I'm going to make an apointment with Brainstorm to get my pressure upped and tuned accordingly.

David from APS told me when he was out here in cali that APS is going to release a switching system allowing for 4 maps to be switched in between early next year...

Brainstorm had also mentioned to my the posibility of having 2 unichips switchable 1 low pressure map and one 103 oct high pressure map. I just need to see how much an additional unichip will cost since my information on that one seems to be way off...

Did you ever end up raising your boost? If so, how much improvement?

Where in florida are you? There is a tuner here that is an aps dealer here and will be tuning the unichip by the end of Jan on there new awd mustang dyno. There name is Japtrix 561-963-8700 tell them Jeff sent you. They will take care of you. No I don't have a hidden agenda and do not work for them. I am just a satisfied customer. I recomend them very highly they do great work.

I had posted the results in another thread.
There was a misunderstanding and Brainstorm only upped the Boost to 9 psi.

Based on the dyno I lost horsepower...about 7. However when I took it to the track I had gained mph and my et's improved by .2 seconds.

I'm loosing power after 6600 rpm (i have the upped limiter) so for now I;m shifting at 6500 . They've been having some issues with their dyno and that is being fixed right now so once that's all taken care of I'm going back for another round and probably will have them up it to 10 psi.
My car was also running very hot that's why I'm getting the Stillen Radiator installed tomorrow.
