Default EGT - A/F - PSI Gauges

I am going to need at least these three gauges to start, when I install the turbonetics kit at the end of this coming winter. I'd really like to have all digital gauges instead of analog (with a needle). I haven't seen any like this, though.

Can anyone suggest a manufacturer for these gauges, possibly ones that will work well with the kit I am installing?

I've seen most gauges on the A pillar so I will probably end up doing that. I'm curious if anyone has done a more interesting install for their gauges though.

zeitronix has a 3 in 1 gauge with all the parameters you want to monitor. otherwise, search gauges.

bailey, is your zeitronix removable? i'd worry about someone smashing and dashing with it, considering how visible it is where you have it.

Another vote for Zeitronix. It has all three you mentioned plus lambda. Bailey built me his same LCD clip and it works to perfection. And no, it doesn't stand out at all (I have 20% tint). And everyone who has seen it, thinks its just another Sat radio display.

ya it could happen but, the wire goes all the way down, under & around it would be alot of work for a quickie. Plus it really is not all that visible from the outside.

ot, and sorry for jacking your thread: thanx. i'm thinking of installing mine from the roof of the nav box on some kind of hinge that would allow me to fold it up against the roof, allowing for storage. do you think its do-able?

If you have NAV or a screen you could use the HKS CAMP system http://www.z1auto.com/prodmore.asp?m...gmt&prodid=582

OK, so I have to ask the stupid question - can the OEM nav screen be used to display the information that the HKS CAMP outputs?

Yes I believe you just need some adaptor thing. I don't have NAV so I didn't do it but if you search on the audio forum I remember reading something about an input adaptor thing.

The adapter in question is NavTV, unless I missed the post you were referring to. This adapter is ungodly expensive for my application, and I've heard mixed opinions about it.

Thanks for the info though, maybe someone has $ to burn and will try this out.

Yeah I know, I do appreciate the info and wasn't trying to come off sarcastic.

That NavTV has always annoyed me though...I just can't see an adapter to use an existing screen costing as much as an LCD screen itself.

Oh no not at all I hear you...Maybe an aftermarket screen with aux inputs? Not sure where you are price wise...either way the Zeitronix is a good unit...

Hey Guys..

CAMP is kinda outdated. the best way to go is with the Innovate MTS suite, modular... you get only what you need. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that oyu need to have a computer in the car to see the date live. I will try to make a video ofmy setup, which I completed today...it's very imprssive, jsut shows what's possible. I have got 16 channels, INCLUDING TIMING ADVANCE!

All of these, on a single screen, all being logged (full time or on a trigger-basis) when desired. Perfect for NAV owners:

AFR bank 1
AFR bank 2
RPM
Injector Duty Cycle
MAF voltage
MAP (boost)
TPS
Timing Advance
EGT
CHT (cylinder head temp)
IAT (intake air temp)
ECT (engine coolant temp)
APP (accelerator pedal position)
Fuel Pressure
Cam Duty Cycle (push-pull)
ATF1 (auto trans fluid pressure)

BTW...almost all of htese use differential grounds, so your data is always not only incredibly PRECISE, but also incredibly ACCURATE.

I will try to make a video of this when i can.

Gurgen
