Default Boost Control Solenoid Install Help....

Well, I have had my Greddy Profec E-01 display and boost sensor installed for a while now, but am just now getting around to installing the solenoid, so that I can control the boost when I get it tuned.

Looking at the E-01 manifold I am getting confused about vacuum hose routing. I know I use the COM and NC ports on the solenoid for the external gates but from their I am kind of lost. It's just been so long since I installed a bc on a car (a good 2 years, haha)

But just some info on what to do with each wastegate port and each solenoid port would be most helpful.

Ok what you need to do is hook the com port to the top port on the gate, that is used to close the gate. The NC port needs to go to the side port, now put a T in that line running to a vac source(comp housing, bov pressure line, etc) That side port is what opens the gate.

Just so others have a picture of what Dave's post was talking about, I found this picture in an online manual for the Apex'i AVC-R
