Question Vortech / FI guys........

I have the vortech kit and was making 9 psi when i got my tune in 84 degree weather.......... Tonight on the way home at like 2 am it was 50 degrees and i had an open road and decided to just let loose..... as i always check my boost gauge, at the top of third i was at 11 psi and pinned back in my seat with a kung fu grip on the steering wheel .... my car felt like a monster.. im just curious, is it something i should be nervous about or just enjoying...? can i do damage to the engine or is it the same besides the colder air coming in?

I get more boost at night and I think its because of outside temperature and air density. I love running them at night
