Default What clutch for 600 whp?

I have the JWT clutch and flywheel package and love the easy driving. I plan on having around 600 whp or more. What clutch and flywheel combo will hold this power and be the easiest and quietest to drive? I would like to keep the JWT combo but all info states it only holds around 500 ft/lbs of torque. Can you use the triple ATS carbon clutches with the JWT flywheel? I would like to save money any way I can. Thanks

With the way the assembly on the triples work, the flywheel essentially becomes part of the clutch pack. You cannot mix and match flywheels with the twins and triples I believe. You could always buy a new replacement friction surface for the JWT flywheel, install it and sell it that way to get some cash back as a like new used unit. That would help to offset a little of the cost for a triple....which you would need for that torque level.

Easiest to drive....not a 6 puck race clutch you need a 2500 rpm launch to use... ATS triple all the way!!

If im not mistaken I think JWT can make you another clutch that holds more power. I think it might be a different pressure plate not sure. I have 0 issues with mine and if they make one for 700whp, I will be getting that next

It will if you get the 1350kg pressure plate rather than the 1100kg one.

The twin/double ATS carbon clutch will hold up to around 700 lb/tq (with the 1100kg pressure plate). Sharif, Forged Internals owner, has it on the shop car. The problem with the twin w/1100kg pressure plate is having to heat it up so much to get it to grab. So, for 600 LB/TQ, i'm going to recommend going with either the ATS Twin Carbon Clutch with 1350kg pressure plate, or ATS Triple Carbon Clutch with 1100kg pressure plate. You can also add carbon treated flywheel and pressure plate to either of those for a 10% increase in HP/TQ holding capacity.
