Was wondering if any one has tried this ? With The FI cars we need to open the exhaust to get the most power out of it and the rasp drives me crazy . I guess the turbo guys dont have this problem though . www.Vibrantperformance.com has some race mufflers 3in. in and out , and about 12in long .They say they dont reduce performance . Was thinking on trying them instead of resonated test pipes and placing these before the X pipe on my Stillen dual . Would these be just as or more restrictive as high flow cats ?

Thanks for the link tig . I'll wait a while and maybe post it in the exhaust forum , some over there may know if they flow more than , than the Crawford cats I have on now
I have a nasty rasp even with the twins.. Using a custom 2.5" y pipe merging into a 3" collector to the muffler. Also have xerd test pipes. Around 3.5k RPM's... I have one resonater in, thinking of putting two more on the y-pipes...

As far as race mufflers not flowing as well as the crawford cats...i wouldn't worry about that. The flow will be very close to that with the pipes (well closer to the pipes flow than the cats flow).
