Default Headers

I am planning on getting headers for my car and I need to know if alphawerk headers are better than DC headers. a quick reply is much appreciated.

If by 'better' do you mean more expensive? if so, then yes. IMO, if you are considering alphawerks, just get a setup of topspeeds for about 1/3 the price.

I don't know much of the alphawerks, but I know a lot of people that are very happy with their DC headers.

alphawerks = topspeed = DC = megan racing

the only difference is namebrand and price

i have the alphawerks headers and i am very, very happy with them. they are great in their n/a form but i have since upgraded to the turbonetics ST turbo kit. they gave me no problems when i installed my turbonetics ST. clearance is an issue with other headers or so i have read. supposedly many headers are copies of other headers on the market. i have heard of problems with clearance using other name brands in respects to use with the turbonetics single turbo kit. if you plan on doing a single turbo after headers, alphawerks headers are a great choice.

Thanks everyone, as DC headers are the only CARB certified I might just go with them but again thanks for all the input.
