Thumbs up APS ST Harness Issue

Background:
Several weeks ago I had ZFever in Tampa, Fl. install the APS ST. After the install I constantly received the SES light, VDC off, Slip the engine threw "crank angle" senor errors and took several attempts to crank. Everyone kept saying how I had a bad install and blawh, blawh.
After contacting several other installers (SGP, XXTuning and Forged). I found out others have had the same issues and it was caused by a bad wiring harness. I contacted Peter from APS to inquire about the issue and was told he had never heard of a wiring harness issue.

Current:
Skip ahead several weeks and lots of delays... replaced harness today and it fixed those issues.

Conclusion:
Install was great. APS had a defective product and was impossible to get help from. Thanks to Taylor Durden and the other guys at ZFever as well as Shariff at Forged, Mike at XXTuning and SGP for their help.

Good to hear you problems are now fixed. So how did you finally get the harness replaced?

Gman,

Well I wouldn't say all my issues are fixed. I have some boost drop and several weird sounds now that my kit is in but 1 thing at a time. Mike from XXTuning was very helpful in finding me a replacement harness.

BTW, I have Sharif wiring an Allsport harness to my new EU. I am taking out the UniChip and I ordered a boost controller from him. I am going to buy a built motor from SGP in 2 months and do it right.

I will be in Ft. Lauderdale next week. Want to meet for a beer?

Did you tighthen that bolt that tig mentioned in one of his post? He had boost drop and could not figure it out, but it turned out to be a loose bolt on the exhaust or crossover pipe...not sure.

Anyway hit me up before you come down and I take you up on your offer. I will pm you my number.

yes, make sure that 4th bolt on the xover pipe is in, mine wasnt and was causing a huge exhaust gas leak before the turbo, i was losing half of my boost, but not anymore. good luck, i too have the zeitronix setup.
