How much psi???
i finally got my jic exhaust and i just talked to my installer. he said the boost has now stabilized( it would spike to .5 bar at 4000 rpm's and taper off to .2-.3 bar at redline with the fujistubo) and sounds great. my question is how much boost can i run? i have the 93 octane map and was gonna use a manual boost controller for the time being. Any suggestions?

just a quick suggestion ... most do things in PSI here ... it is just easier for most of us here .. including me to think in PSI
as per your question, your reading are pretty consistent with most owners .... ~8psi and falling to 4-5 at redline.
As long as she is running good and the a/f looks clean (get it dyno'd yet?) ... it sounds like you are doing quite well.

Stock motor, aps st, 1 step colder plugs, jic titanium, aam plenum spacer.
the boost problem has supposedly stabilized( wish aps would had said a 3" exhaust is NECESSARY). back to the topic, boost climbs to 7 psi at 4000rpms and slowly taper to 4.5 psi at redline, but i don't have that problem anymore. just wanna know what boost i can safely run( i put 94 octane in my vehicle).

the numbers for today are 320whp and 360ft/lbs. of torque. like i said boost would climb to 7psi and then slowly taper to redline. i'm getting a manual boost controller now that adding the jic single exit exhaust has fixed the boost problem(hopefully) i'll redyno in the am.

a/f ratios looked good at the first dyno runs. i mean getting 320 whp at 4000rpms was great but to see the boost taper off and the power not increase kinda pissed me off. my installer told me the coupler that aps uses to mate to the stock exhaust was gonna be a problem and i didn't believe him.....until now. luckily for me i sold my fuji exhaust and y-pipe for about for the price of the jic st( titanium muffler-stainless exhaust). we'll see what the numbers are today when it gets redynoed. i'll probably shoot for .6bar(i got defi guaes that read in bar) which is approx 8.8psi and hopefully the numbers will go up as long as the boost holds till redline.

Car version2 in delaware did the install. clean install, they have a dynapack but don't tune unichip. they ran the car on the dyno with the jic titanium exhaust. i came out with 350whp and 390ft/lbs. of torque. i haven't looked at the a/f numbers but i'm hoping there is some room for tuning in the future. i was looking for about 40 more horsepower at that level. once again the boost spikes to 9psi and tapers off to 7 at redline. if i could find a way to hold boost all the way to redline, i know i could come close to 400. maybe i'll call up grd and see whats up.

i had that boost problem too, i rechecked and replaced lots of parts on the kit and nothing worked. i also have the JIC Ti 3 " single and a manual boost controller. i finally got the boost problem fixed due to a missing bolt on the xover pipe. with the mbc i was hitting 12 psi frequently. its nice to be able to adjust the boost.

How do you guys have your manual boost controller hooked up? Buddy of mine is looking to install one in the next few days. I think I will hook it up like the Evo's (source from the turbo, bleed off to the wastegate) if that is how you guys hook it up. FYI, he has the Turbonetic's kit w/ built internals.
And D350Z10, is your reflash the one that came w/ the T'netics kit or did you have them reflash your Z? Thanks guys.
