Default any twin fuel pump set-up?

I'll like to know if anyone is working or has a twin fuel pump set up.
Up to now the walbro 255/CJ set-up is holding psi but in getting me scare as I'm approaching the 700whp mark. Before you ask, 581whp + 100hp n2o shot = 650+whp , it also = burned clutches & broken axles and that was only with a 50hp shot
Any help with a better fuel supply that isn't a inline pump will be appreciated

sorry that we have not completed the dual pump setup yet. it still may be some time before we focus on completion of it.

I know Charles, thanks anyway and keep in mind that I'll be willing to test any prototype you come up with as we don't have winter in PR (perfect track weather all year long )

I know someone who has this setup, but I'm not sure if he's marketing it yet.

another fuel pump assembly WILL just drop right in on the drivers side of the gas tank no problem. However, its get a lot more complex then that if your going to do it properly enough to market it.

BTW, I have a box full of fuel pump connectors, seals, and terminals. They are required if you plan to stick another 350z pump assembly in there. If anyone needs a connector, let me know.

Charles, how did you plan (or are you going to) on running the fuel lines for the twin pump system? Would you do one line from each pump, connecting to a y-block, and ran with one (larger) line up to the FPR? Or one seperate line from each pump all the way to the FPR (guess it depends on the FPR you use, are there any that have two INs?)?

Just curious, I had thought of making my own custom fuel system a while back and had always wondered about what to do when needing to switch to a twin pump system.

well i cant give you all the details of the system that I will release after testing... but I will say that i dont recommend that you run 2 seperate lines all the way to the regulator, you want to join the 2 pumps output before splitting again to the rails IMHO.

The system that I plan to release is pretty complex, it took a lot of thought to get something that will work *in theory*... i still have to test it tho. I will not sell anything unless it has no sacrafices... it needs to operate OEM from the drivers perspective.

Right now we are focusing on completing our *very nice* intake manifold... the prototype has been done for a while (a few guys were shown some pre-lease pics), but the final design is a little different, many improvements, and the appearance has changed. hopefully after we get that all finished up over the next month or so (and i might select one or two prototype testers from the forum), i can then possibly finish the dual pumps.

hey, hey!! lets make it more fair, first ones to make it to the 10sec 1/4 get to be the testers Think about it, a VQ doing 10sec runs with CJM logos on the sides, I'm in

BTW I don't think that picking up fuel from both sides of the tank at the same time is a good idea but I'll give it a try. Another option is using the SARD fuel collector tank

I had no idea you were making an intake manifold. Too bad I just got a spacer.
