Bill - Be sure & keep us/me in the loop with your numbers on the T-trim & new motor! I'm still waiting on the Arias HD pistons to be shipped from the moly coaters to AEBS for the bore/hone/sleeve work. It's looking like mid-January for me & since U & I seem to be the only one's with the T-trim'ed Vortech ( correct me if I'm wrong ) I'm anxious to see your results. I've already told Isbell that I want 550 hp on the motor & enough fuel for another 100 hp w/nitrous!! He said that I need to quit thinking so conservatively!!!
I'll keep ya posted on WHENEVER we get the party started.

Ron - That's one sweet ryde!! Nice Christmas present, huh!!

Lightbulb Tc

About the only way ( other than running turbos or nitrous ) that I'm aware of is to install a high stall torque convertor. The "looser" convertor helps with the torque @ launch & aids in torque multiplication. The valve body is a good mod also as it allows quicker shifts @ WOT.

CP Racing eliminated the Y-pipe and fabbed a true dual connection (H-pipe) from the test pipes to the GReddy Evo2. It has a nice rumble at idle, more aggressive than stock but not obnoxious. It sounds reeeaaallly nice under acceleration. No rasp, just much more aggressive when you punch it.

The Y-pipe seems to be a bottleneck with this system and we wanted to open it up as much as possible with the TT. The H-pipe is 2.5" dumping into the Evo2 which is 2.25." Eventually I'll consider either a 3" custom setup or go with the GReddy EvoTT when it's released.

Thanks!
Ron
