Talking Little Sneak Peak at Some R&D...Guess What!

So just a little look at one of our current projects in development. This is the inital testing phase. We've done all the calculations to determine feasability, but now its time to see if it'll make some power. This platform is just being used to test the numbers and theories. It will look much different when all is said and done, but here's a sneak preview.

dang it!! you beat me to it! i am pulling my intake off in a couple days and removing the beginning of the air horns too. i believe it will make more power than most all the other plenums out there. can't wait to see the numbers you get with it.
i have been trying to figure the best way to remove all that material quickly though, how did you guys do it? was thinking just a million or so passes on a surfacer, lol.

ugh, ya i guess that would do the trick. i unfortunately don't have one, lol. i had planned on just smoothing all the corners to a good radius and calling it good. what are you planning to do to it?

You guys do know that the 300hp motor lower plenums have much shorter runners and the air horns are placed more towards the middle, right?

Yeah this is just the very FIRST step. Much more to come. This is just for testing before cutting flanges and such for a full scale prototype.

I love it when I see new stuff coming out towards more HP gain.

Q: will it be made for N/A or F/I applications?

We want to try a couple of things. Runner lengths, taper, and plenum volume. This just gave us a way to start the testing.
