Just to make this EXACTLY apples to apples:

APS 2.5" ST exhaust =$995 + $5890 for APS ST kit= $6885 power when tuned according to APS 386.4 RWHP with 94 RON gas

Turbonetics kit as equipped above= $5895 + Apexi N1 3" exhaust($599 http://www.hopupracing.com/cosoapni35ex.html)= $6494.

Thats a price difference of $391 with which you could if you chose purchase and install the APS upgraded oil pan. If so making the prices equal you get:

APS as equipped= 386.4 RWHP at 9 PSI on 94 ron
APS tuned plus Nismo exhaust ($950) at 9 PSI and 93 octane= 380 RWHP
Turbonetics as equipped= 401 RWHP and 418 ft/lb at 9 PSI on 93 octane

End result similar power with the Turbonetics being slightly higher but easier install, easier access to tuning, better fuel system with more head room.

I don't see how this is apples to apples. You're comparing one manufacturers kit and components exactly how it comes out of the box...to one manufacturers kit with a lot of other manufacturers components? Could you clear this up for me?

As for numbers, they are completely irrelevant. Were all these numbers taken from the same dyno, in the same state, same weather conditions, at the same elevation? The numbers will be inconsistent if this wasn't the case.

My Turbonetics kit was only $4300 shipped to me, and my exhaust was $800. That is only $5100 before install and gauges. That's $1700.00 more than the TN kit.

It is apples to apples because it compares a Turbonetics kit with all the components the APS kit has. You obviously were not involved on the other thread that the post was copied from so I don't expect you to understand where the discussion was going. Oh and by the way we already discuessed dyno variances. I'm not going into this again with you.

Well, I guess that's your opinion. However I don't believe you can say something is apples to apples if you are adding components to the kit. Would you call it apples to apples if I were to add more components to the APS system?

I wasn't involved in the other thread, but if you would be kind enough to link me to it I would definitely be interested in checking it out.

We can't link to other boards but its on motoring titled the same. I dont see how its not apples to apples. The guy said to compare a Turbonetics kit to the APS kit and to include everything the APS kit has and go dollar for dollar. Thats what I did. I don't see how I could NOT add things since I based my comparison off of the Turbonetics tuner kit.

What rule

What the crap are you talking about man, MIA is reffering to a thread made elsewhere where the question was asked and he responded and where some of us reffer to on this forum.

He is simply saying you read that thread, instead of him just repeating himself over and over again to folks who are either talking out of their *** or to lazy to search and read.
