Thumbs up Thx Sharif@Forged & Eric at CPR, 424hp @ 7.5-8.0psi

Huge thanks to Sharif of Forged Interals and Eric of CP-Racing for their work this weekend.

Took the car in and it ends up my lower intake plenum wasn't sealing properly (nothing a little hondabond couldn't fix ) and had a cut injector o-ring from installing the return fuel system on Saturday. After getting all that straighted out they finally were able to get some tuning done.

Baseline run about 340rwhp...tuning...402rwhp...tuning...420rwhp. I made 80rwhp in 3 runs followed by fine tuning, just amazing. Aparently 3" true dual exhaust is the way to go even with low boosted Z's.

Final results:
424 rwhp and 392 rwtq at only 7.5-8.0 psi.
Conservative timing and 11.0-11.1 AFR across the board.

I have it installed and all, but i haven't really started messing with it yet. Plus, on the dyno i realized it isn't really going to help much, since my intake temps were like 8 degrees above ambient...damn 3-Row intercoolers

Congrats, man. Look like Sharif and his guys have done it again. Those guy are great. Wish I kept my Z. Right now my little bro is getting his Greddy put in my ex-Z at Scott Performance. Sold the car to him. At least I might be able to drive it around. LOL! Can wait to see how it turn out. Glad to see the greddy kit getting some good number. Have fun with your car.

I think i missed it, what 3" exhaust are you running, aps, sfr, or custom. If you dont mind, how much it set you back?

Chances are you will definately be seeing me around again at some point. Possibly for another tune later on or something else. I really liked your shop and Eric was a great guy to work with.

Its custom (R&J Custom Exhaust in Apex, NC did it). They charged me 4 hrs labor ($300), $190 parts (various 3" mandrel bends/flanges), then I spent $100 on the dynomax race mufflers (summitracing.com) and $120 for the ebay mufflers. So a grand total of $710 installed, including shipping. Once I get some more money I will be changing the mufflers for some nicer ones cause its a little loud right now

Yes the timing harness is being used. I am using the emanage ultimate so diodes are not necessary, but with the blue unit you will need (6) 1N5400 diodes from radioshack and solder them in to the output wire to the coils on the timing harness (not input, i made that mistake, car didn't start).

Very nice numbers at those boost levels. Those guys are definitely good. I know I'm pleased. You gotta post some audio of that exhaust, especially if it's louder than Sharif's car.

Congrats!

Yea I saw it, along with Kelly's turbonetics car. Eric said something about a possible bad injector or something with your G?
