not sure if this was already mentioned.

a compression test was done prior to the leak down and the numbers where between 110 to 125psi with the lower compression setup. shouldnt there be a larger pressure difference with a blown motor? 15psi doesnt seem like much.

u guys are all using the term "blown motor" as if a rod broke through the side of the block...
this term is usually used when the failure is catastrophic, or at least something breaks!!!...the exact cause of the smoking will be made apparent (hopefully) when the motor is dissassembled...if the piston ringland broke, or a ring is toast...then no, the compression numbers do not have to differ more than 15psi...if a piston was shattered , then yes, the numbers would differ much more

good luck jorge!

Since you are going all the way you might as well get a full stand alone EMS. It looks like you have a pretty big budget, so I would go with the Motec. It will cost you around $5000.

You should watch out for other cars and you'll need a radar detector!

Wow, that's an impressive list.

Good luck!

The crank is already forged chromoly steel, and has been tested to 1000-1300whp so I dont think he need a new one.

You are going to need more fuel pump capacity to reach that power. The Walbro starts fading at about 575whp...you can tune around it to some extent, but once the pressure starts dropping, its time for an additional higher capacity pump, twin walbro..or some other solution. A signle Walbro 255 will not get you to 700whp safely.
