Turbonetics Install On Tuesday.. Tune to 400hp??
I will be installing my TN kit Tuesday. I decided NOT to do the TN install myself. I am going to make a trip from Florida to CPRace in Charlotte NC for my install. It's about a 9 hr drive. I'll be spending 2 nights in a hotel there with my wife and visiting some friends.
I'm debating getting the Emanage and tuning to 400RWHP. Should I do it now or wait? If I decide to do it which Emanage should I get. Anything else need to be added for 400RWHP?

I'd call and discuss it with Sharif, and then decide.
BUt yeah....you should easily and safely be able to hit 400.
When I went last week....I stayed at a Quality Inn that was pretty nice and about 2 miles from the shop.

I would suggest to tune it to 400rwhp now... you'll be in the hands of one of the best tuners, so do it while you have the chance. I think the EU is all you really need, but you might need a fuel return system as well. Like other's have said, Sharif will let you know of everything that you need, just talk to him once he gets back.
Anyone know the power threshold before adding a return fuel system? If I remember correctly 400 doesn't require one. Am I safe with the TN kit injectors for 400rwhp?

I am wondering, why bother, you are at that point so close to the engine's threshold, you'll spend another 2500$ and win like 20-30 whp.Why not just bolt on the kit as is, wait for a year, put some money away and drop it on a built motor and THEN get the fuel system, EU, tune, etc and make like 500 whp. That's how I was planning to go at it. Is there a flaw in my logic or something?

Do it! See my thread: https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/151728-another-successful-turbonetics-tune-by-fi-com-cp-racing.html
I just got back yesterday from CPR.
Personally, if I had it to do again, I wouldn't roll the dice with the Tnetics reflash. I love everything else about the kit, but the reflash has been very hit or miss for more than a few folks and it was a complete disaster on my car. If you want to be certain that your AFR and timing is going to be accurate on YOUR car, get the Emanage. Spend the extra money and get the Emanage Ultimate. It's only an extra 2 or 3 hundred bucks. The difference between 365 WHP with a rich AFR (which Tnetics has safely planned for) and 400 WHP with a tuned mid-11's AFR and some timing adjustments is HUGE. It was money well spent if you ask me.

Depending on the amount of boost needed for 400 RWHP you should be OK with just the pump, I am there with 8.5 psi or so and only have the pump, anything more and the return is recommened as fuel pressure gets harder to keep steady.

I was just wondering since it seems like everyone keeps confusing CP Racing, Forged Internals, and Sharif to all be a part of one shop.
JET, I was under an impression that you were looking to get the EU and a full fuel return system.
And don't kid yourself, like the car was so fun when you bought it and felt so fast and all, you got bored with stock power and now you want more, within a year or two you will feel same way about the 400 hp. Especially when the new Z06 will start popping up left and right. And by then electronics available may make the current ones look like a the new Splaystation vs the Super Nintendo (couldn't find another analogy).
