Default Anybody with a turbonetics single turbo kit, come in plz

I just got my kit put in, i will be getting my car back on wednesday of next week, supposedly everything is running good but thats not my problem, my question is that the shop i bought the stuff from said i couldnt pit the koyo radiator i wanted to purchase b/c of some piping and that it would push the stock fans too far back, so my question is how do i go about purchasing and putting in an aftermarket radiator, where can i buy like slimmer fans or something to work with my car, i really do think a bigger radiator is necessary b/c i will be racing on the track, so if anyone could help that would be great, I have installed in the car besides the kit, a stillen oil cooler kit, one step colder spark plugs, and i ordered the nismo lower thermostat kit, i would have ordered the radiator but they said it wouldnt fit, anyone have this problem and found a way around it, i Heard of fans that push that go in from of the radiator but no details, any info would be great thanx a million guys.

I haven't seen this firsthand, but I've read some folks here that said they had to trim the actual fan blades so it would fit with either a TT or SC kit. I have no idea how this kit will fit with the afterarket radiators, and I'm interested in learning this myself.

hey did they put your exhaust on with any modifications? I always liked the injen and how it looked. I have the borla but it requires bending and costs too much for me now.

well he asked me if i wanted to modify my injen b/c i really do love the exhaust but i figured that later in the future i would never be able to sell the exhaust b/c it would be too such a limited amount of people i just had him put the stock exhaust on there, and i ordered a jic single titanium catback but for the time being im running the stock exhaust, i love my injen though the look of it is what gets me everytime but sorry no modifications id rather just sell it the the good condition it is now then tear it up and lose money on it later you know, i guess no one has figured out anything on the radiator huh?

I have the PE radiator and the blades and shroud did not have to be trimmed. It cost about $250 more than the koyo, but that is about how much a shop will charge you for the labor involved to get the koyo to work. It the end both radiators will cost about the same, but no modification is needed for the PE.

If you are looking to get a custom rad give ron-davis racing radiators a call..All you will need are the dimensions you want and were you need the water outlets...The made me one for my mustang and it cost me less than a factory replacement one...

To get the Koyo to fit on my G35 with APS TT my shop had to trip the blades and the shroud. Its a very tight fit now, but no signs of rubbing or unbalanced fans.

Good info. Anyone have a pic of the clearance on either the PE radiator or a trimmed Koyo radiator?

By the way, 350zbiturbo, you still have your test pipes in your sig.

And, are you running the TS headers with the kit now?

It wouldn't seem the APS pipes would interfere with the radiator install, but not possitive without one in front of me.

Both FMIC pipes get in the way.

Pretty sure it will not. It comes forward right where the BoV is sitting.

Gman - thanks for the shot of the radiator. Looks like it might have enough room in there for the tn piping, it would still be a very tight squeeze though.
