Mossy Performance is stocking it now or is going to be. I talked Greg into carrying it so I can go get it where I do my oil changes. BTW I just changed my oil again this weekend and I'll be sending off some of the TS-1 for analysis as soon as Blackstone Labs sends me the kit.

How much would the oil cost from T/N? I have a feeling that it will be up there.

I believe Summit Racing was selling it for $46 for a 6 quart case which is on par with Royal Purple or Amsoil. I'm sure ordering from Mossy might be a bit less as he has always had better pricing for other parts then Summit has.

Turbonetics supplies their own oil called TS-1. I'll try to find that paper Brad from Turbonetics posted about it...

NOOOOOOOO that's blasphemy!

Ohh anyways, when is the G35 kit going to be shipped? I placed an order mid summer and I am still waiting. It would suck if I get it installed over the winter, can't enjoy it as much =/

I doubt it, I have used Royal Purple and Castrol Syntec along with the Turbonetics oil... And next oil change will be with Redline... Just stick to name brand synthetic IMO.

I've actually been on a quest for good oil lately. I used to run Mobil 1 10W-30 and it worked well engine was smooth but I would burn a quart every 3k miles. Then I tried Royal Purple 10W-30 and I stopped burning oil but my valvetrain got louder. Now I'm running Turbonetics TS-1. So far no burnt oil (just changed Friday again with more TS-1) and valve train is no longer loud. I saved some oil from the change on Friday and I'm sending it out for a FULL analysis whenever Blackstone Labs sends me my kit. Should have some more info then. But unless it comes back and tells me something bad I'm convinced. One of the big reasons Turbonetics includes a 12k mile/ 12 month no fault no hassle warranty is because they figure you will run their oil after install. When they did testing on the oil they found that if the oil is run just one time through the turbo bearings in a 12 month period they could virtually gurantee the bearings would be good to go for that 12 month period. There was some chemical that they said was added they forces the oil to bond to the bearing surfaces and creates almost like a shock abosrber out of the oil and prevents premature wear of the bearings both turbo and engine bearings. This is the EXACT same oil they ran in their drag Celica even. I'l be sticking with this...
