yes i will call you crazy. i never thought i would see 15psi on a 10.3/1 comp motor. race gas makes a big difference but still, those parts aren't that strong!!! good luck, and start saving your pennies, it can't last long.

people say thats crazy but if the tune is good its not as bad as many think. there are plenty of guys with turbo hondas running 400-450 on stock block with a good tune but of course it not going to last forever. i would think that the piston rings will give out prematurely but nothing to crazy if you lay off the gas a bit. say out of top speed pulls and you will be ok for a while.

You know that thing is gonna blow when you are cruising in the middle of nowhere and there aint no cell phone service. Then your gonna have to hitch hike, hope you dont wind up with some ex-con trucker whom likes to give it as much as he receives it...

I expected these kinds of results to start showing up.

Nice numbers.

BTW, can you give any information regarding the custom cams?

I dont think its crazy at all, to go against the crowd I hope this works for you and you can prove the naysayers wrong for doubting what you are attempting to do. I'll also be the first to say thank you for doing this, good luck.

I believe they might have said it can support 500 bhp not 550whp (~650bhp).

But yeah, I'm not gonna call you crazy....just a pioneer who doesn't mind risking his motor

keep up the good work! I always appreciate courage and pioneering, crazy but a fun move..

do you have the ability to run 2 maps for 2 boost settings? If I were you, I'd run a daoly 10 psi map 93 octane, then a 15 psi 100 octane with water/alcohol...

take it to the track man!!!

good work. I bet it will stay together for a while... I havent heard of anyone blowing a stock VQ from too much power yet, so I have no reason to believe it cant hold up.

why is everybody saying it gonna blow?
who know for sure what is the limit of stock block?
Nissan said something but did they actually push that much power in the engine and watch it blow?
i mean 1 year ago samething been said about 400-450whp right?
