That's awesome B..
With a perfect tune as you stated and water injection I see no reason why your motor would'nt hold up. Seems like there's a lot of skepticism but there really hasn't been much documented, that I've seen, of stock blocks running in the 500's to past judgement on whether the motor will last or not. Keep up the good work and please continue to post your findings, good and bad, so that all of us not planning on a built motor can at least have a solid template to work from.

I'm glad they didn't turbo the Z from the factory. Makes it more fun to add afterwards....plus it doesn't compete for market share with the Evo and STi anyway...

I think I know someone with Nitto Dr's With the power you're putting down, you should run against some bikes! I'm meeting my friend with a Ninja 600RR this afternoon. Let me know.

The stock APS injectors are roughly 410-440cc when rated at industry standard 42.5psi of fuel pressure. To get 550whp out of an injector this small, you must be running a lot of timing advance. I didnt catch it in the beggining of the thread, but are you running this on 100 octane fuel? Your injectors are certainly at 100% duty cycle, so you may want to consider upgrading to larger injectors at some point in the future.

I had my APS injectors flow tested and they flowed between 430-442cc's between all 6 of them. I'm sure he's running a good amount of timing advance since he has water/alcohol injection.

Its all about throttle control, dont worry you make the ground up quick on those cars that can launch better. Then they don't realize what happened.

Also have you changed your suspension? I have the Zeal and if I put it on full soft I get way better traction. However if I have it on 4, 5, or 6 being the firmest settings, 3rd gear will break loose a lil.
