Did anyone else experience the burning smell from the supplied metalic heat wrap???? on the pipe that feeds the Turbo exhaust gases??? Its the glue making the smell....lol
Yeah along with the shop that did my install didn't even clean off any of the piping... So there was alot of smoke, and now stains on what used to be purdy piping

I love the bling factor with the turbo being up top. It really gets a lot of attention at the car shows and cruises.

What are the extra ports for on the wastegate and the BOV for?
Well on the BOV if you hook the top port to another boost source (I forget off the top of my head from where) it supposedly gives you better response on the valve although I have yet to see it needed. As for the wastegate the top port is where you would hook the boost signal line from a boost controller. Essentially the top port on the wastegate helps keep the valve shut while the bottom port exerts pressure to open it. The boost controller exerts so much force on the top port to increase boost pressure and allows it to fly open when needed. As for the BOV I'm sure it works the same but I don't think we need it. I'm glad it was a simple fix and trust me its easy to overlook stuff on such a complicated install. Well happy boosting and hope you enjoy...!!

Probably just burn in...it should go away after a couple of days. If it doesnt get back down there and make sure nothing has moved itself onto the piping like the oil return line :-(
