So how about you MAN UP and quit telling lies and get down to making your business something better?

Once again (the way you do business bothers me)

Now let me get this stright, the way we do business bothers you yet YOU HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH US!!!!!!!!!!!!You admitedly asked questions and thats about it so I dont know how you are coming to the conclusions you are.I bet it has something to do with VRT.

Straight answers huh? I know more about turbochargig then anyone else you will meet so I dont know how I couldnt give you a stright answer.I dont remember even talking to you.

About the lies..........this is why I called you out to the dyno.I dont beleive you are making the numbers you claim so come prove it! Your torque numbers are way high considering you have an 8.6 to 1 compression motor.I think you are lieing about 75 ft/lbs that you really dont have.So like I said before, come on down to the dyno day and lets see how your supercar compares to the rest of our so-so cars.As a matter of fact, I will put up some money that says my bone stock motor car will make more power and torque then your built motor car at less boost

Love the logic in the first post there Oleg: I'm living in a basically unfurnished house myself. This is why they call it disposable income.

only way that works is if the 474hp and 574 are at same rpm.. most z dynos show peak tq around 4500 rpms.. amazingly at that rpm the 474hp works with the 574tq.. only question then is why not mention the peak hp.. as it must certainly be higher at 6000 rpms, significantly higher, assuming a tq curve that is flat it should be around 660hp at 6000 rpms..

Exactly, but HP is actually a measurement of TQ, so how would he explain a 100 whp less number with a tq reading that should produce WAY more HP than 474.Unless he stopped the dyno at 4500rpms and that was that..
After looking at his sig, it says he has cams, which would make a dookie load more power in the upper rpm range and not so much TQ.Another thing I noticed in his sig is he is making all that HP with the Injen SES exhaust, only 2 1/4" diameter and pretty restrictive for FI..So I conclude, either his Dyno is magical or he is fluffing his TQ numbers...

How did this thread go from me getting help on choosing between ball or standard bearing turbos in SFR kit to WHP vs TQ in USN's Z?

Yes he is....LOL But I think if you are going that far you may as well go for the ball bearing turbos. By the way nice choice for a TT kit. Good luck with it.

SFR seems like a reputable company with alot of knowledge. Look at some of the cars they have built and how many parts they make for the supra/S2000. How many companies are doing heads for the Z? Plenums? Custom turbo headers? Intakes? TT Kits? Just because not many people have there turbos doesnt make them unreputable. If I had the cash flow I would run there turbo setup in a heartbeat.

Sorry to say, but your wrong ... I have spent a number of hours with Keith on the phone asking them about there kit and how we could make it better and the diffrence about ss302 and ss321 and a number of other issues. I have also e-mailed Tim and he was fast in replying with straight and to the point answers.

And I can tell you that I have a bit of good knowledge about turbos and I know others, which I consult with, that have a lot of knowledge about turbos and they all liked what SFR is doing. Some did offer information about how to improve on the kit and both (Tim and Keith) agreed that yes it does improve the kit, if you can afford it

So overall, they did not give any false information, but on contrary they helped me and their pricing was good.... And when the time comes to upgrade my turbo setup ... I will use SFR products for sure.

So keep up the good work SFR and hope I can save enough money soon

Az

Well....not trying to add any heat to the fire LOL......but I was there and DID indeed watch Jim and Clark (from JWT) dyno USN 350Z's car. If you don't believe me either, than call Jim Wolf or Clark themselves and ask them about this car and the dyno numbers in question. (or are they known as liars too)

The whole objective of the day was to get a reading on, and to adjust the A/F mixture in the lower rpm range, NOT INTENDED TO MAKE A PEAK HP RUN AT ALL! The complete motor was brand new and had only a couple hundred miles on it. So, for our purposes the car only needed to be, and WAS ran up to only 5000rpm. We are planning on re-dynoing it soon after it has accumulated some more miles ..........(see here)... https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/156304-jwt-tt-dyno.html

So the stars align last night. As I was leaving work guess who pulls out of the dyno shop in front of me.Our beloved USN HM! He just got off of the dyno.Hey USN HM where is your dyno chart? I know the numbers but I wont reveal them here but they are not even as high as previously claimed. I called you out and you went to confirm and who was right? I guess my bad business practices strike again

So anyways, I pull up behind USN HM at a turn signal for a little street race.As the light turns green he stomps on it and so do I.He is ahead of me and I am pulling hard. We run into a little traffic and then there is a clear space and guess who pulls on USN HM thought the twisities? I have stock shocks and some Tein springs.LOL. So we get to the next stop light and low and behold, his car stalled So I roll down the window and say whats up and he just looks over with no response. So we are both waiting for this light to turn green since now we are side by side and I am not behind him at a turn signal. The light turns green and we hit it.I get the hole shot but I am just spinning tires and bouncing off of my rev limiter(this is a common occurence for me in first and second gear). He jumps ahead of me in second. By the time I hit the end of second I am dead even with him.A shift to third has me pulling away from him.By fourth gear I am at least 2-3 car lengths ahead of him Who got schooled by the bad business practioner On top of that I still have another $15k sitting in my pocket.LOL.Remember I have a stock motor,he has a built one.I have stock cams he has JWT,Hes gots pulleys, rims, good rubber,coilovers,etc..... and I have a bone stock motor with a turbo, exhaust and some Tein springs rolling on stock rims and tires.

Now for all the traffic ***** on the board....... I dont condone street racing but I could no resist. This was like a grudge match I have been waiting for so I took my shot at it.The funny thing is I was only running 8.5 psi which is about 440 WHP on a Dyno Dynamics and the Dynojet at the DynoShop (Yes I have run on both already).
