Default Help me noobie with TT kit!

Hi i just brought a TT Greddy kit and was wondering what heat range spark plugs i should run. Oh and whats a good blow off vavle? why does a company that makes blow off vavles not give you one in the turbo kit? im pretty sure that question has come up before.

Hey Sam...I moved this to the F/I forum where all the FI guys will see it. Looks like you've been around awhile (Join Date: Jan 2004), but 1st post....so welcome to the boards!

I think most folks run a one step colder than OEM plug.

I've heard more bad stuff than good about the SSQV, but good stuff about the GReddy Type-S and now that mine is working, I like the Turbonetics Raptor (which will bolt to the same flange as the GReddy).

Run either 1 step colder iridium or copper plugs. I myself run the copper ones. The Greddy Type S or Type RS are both great bov's. I've had both, and preffer the RS. Its a little louder, and sounds a little better IMO.

I wondered the same thing about the BOV not comming with the greddy kit. I called greddy, and they do not recommend using a BOV with the vq35 kit. From what i was told and have heard is that, if you put a BOV in your Z will run like crap, like dieing at idle an stuff because the maf sensor reading is messed-up, so you put the BOV before the maf, i just moved my MAF up(in the bumper), and my car runs fine.
