Default SFR TT or Greddy TT

Sharif pulled almost 590 whp on 15PSI w/built motor. On Speed Force racing's webpage the Z with built motor is making a "mere" 510 whp on 13.6 PSI. Both are running 3" exhausts.
I am rather baffled, why such difference? Is it that SFR's turbos are smaller then Greddy? Did Sharif upgrade anything from the original Greddy kit he started with? Is Sharif running some parts that are not present in the SFR's Z? Is it that the SFR's page hasn't been updated for a while and these results are old?
I am now wondering, what is the advantage of spending extra $3500 on SFR kit if same performance can be made through Greddy and the ultimate power goal is 500-550whp, not 700-800?

TurboTim, Sharif, help...

P.S. Is there a way to keep the metal bumper with the greddy kit? Like get theone w/out the intercooler and add another intercooler?

The reason he is making so much more is he has a built motor and can push more boost. The SFR numbers on their page are on a BONE STOCK motor, with sotck cams, etc. With cams and a built motor those turbos will flow for 1000 HP

Go to the speedforceracing.com and look at the three dyno videos in the Z turbo kit section. Its the third one on the bottom. It says "built motor with 8.5:1 compression).

Hmm that is probably the twin T3 kit. The kit you are getting is the twin 60-1 kit right?

Oh, they are using different turbos now? Now that I'm thinking about it, Tim did mention something is excess of 450whp on stock motor running only 8.5 PSI when he smoked HMS-whatshisname the other night.

Yeah they are two kits. The cheaper one has twin T3 turbos. The more expensive one (the one I think you got) has twin 60-1 HiFI turbos. To put in perspective how big that is....the Turbonetics single turbo kits come with a full 60-1 turbo. The turbos you get flow about 90% of the single I have. So each turbo flows about 500 hp. The turbo with the Turbonetics kit flows 570 hp. You do use smaller turbine sections though.

Yah, that was our car (Mike A.'s) that car lost its motor due to the SFR motor build read here; https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/142365-vrt-z-roadster.html

Dude why do you have to go and start a flame war. This thread doesn't need it.

Not starting or even trying to start anything. He mentioned a video that SFR had that has (the old version of) our (VRT) car in it. thats all. I understand what you are trying to prevent, and believe me, I am all for it. RELAX....no flame war here!!

Then that part was not necessary. All you had to say was that was our car pre-JWT kit. I'm not arguing mind you just trying to prevent that.

Yeah like everyone said before the SFR kit with the larger turbos made 510bhp at 13.6psi on a stock block. I will post my numbers with the 60-1 kit and built block, headworks when the car is finished.

Guys, lets not ruin every FI thread fighting over the same issue. Maybe you guys can create a SFR VS VRT thread and then all of those amused by both sides arguing can go directly to that thread.

way2good, bro I was told that members of Speed Force Racing and Tinman are calling you out on saturday to come to the dyno event. If you have something better and you are making "super cars" come out and play this saturday. I mean shoot there gonna be in your yard basically. Comeon it will be fun and Tinman and I both have built motors by speed force so it will be funny to see if we blow. Oh thats right I havnt yet neither has Tinman. Anyway, comeout to the dyno if "your gonna be intown."
