P.S. i was wondering if you got your exhaust design from me Tim

I didnt even know anyone else had done it when I started the project.Actually we built the same set-up on our shop Supra about 3 years ago. This is where I got the idea

Thumbs up

I don't know about thinking twice about the Altima. I like those cars so I'd love to see a picture of this.

Also can Altima's steal a G35 Sedan drive train and axles to be rear wheel drive? I know the motor is mounted different on FWD.

I'm confused - where's the R&D? Do you have flow charts? Was the form more of the target than the function?

Is this thread about kinetix?

.... oh wait, it's about SFR's new plenum. Hopefully the design is all about function.

Loving the proto, great job!
I seriously hope you are kidding... This isnt about looks, this is about creating more power. An extra pipe?! Dude there are six runners because no ****, there actually six cylinders. What a concept!

I'm sure you are one of those folks that consider buying an intercooler just for the looks while not actually having forced induction.

If the Air enter the center of the plenum "moves the intake on the plenum" would that fix the starvation problem of the cylinders?

The intake runners need to be long enough not to kill the low end power of the engine, so placing the throttle body at the center (on top) of the plenum would be very tricky and require more bends that would hinder flow.

I don't see why running dual throttlebodies would be difficult? it's not like they're going to read different values...
