Does the standard turbonetics kit not come with injectors at all? I read some posts about a tuner kit, but cannot find any information on this. What is the tuner kit missing? Just the reflash? fuel pump?

OK heres the break down...from my conversation with Brad yesterday you can get 1.5 two ways..(actually 3):

That being said heres the kit break down

Stage I (tuner kit):
Turbonetics 60-1 Stage V Ceramic Ball Bearing turbo
Searco FMIC
Turbonetics Evolution Wastegate
Turbonetics Raptor BOV
All piping (see above)
Case of Turbonetics TS-1 oil
Power goal: Typicall 365-380 at 8 PSI of boost but is up to the customer

Stage 1.5 (full version):

Stage 1.5 (upgrade kit for people who have Stage I):
510 cc drop in plug in injectors
EMS (piggyback plug and play)
Power goal: 420-450 RWHP at XXPSI of boost (up to the customer and tuner)

Alternate version:
EMS (piggyback plug and play)

Not sure..I did not discuss pricing with them on Friday...The first Stage 1.5 car will begin dyno and road testing sometime in the next week or so. Its an 05 Z. After that my car will go in to test for the 04. Should have some numbers by then..

I posted that here before I saw his thread. I'm not going to get into it here. Just read the other thread.

Unfortunately I can't drop a bunch of details about the EMS just yet but I will see it does reference a MAP. As for test cars as of now Turobnetics has two...if they need more I'll let everyone know.

Still see no mention of any sort of return style fuel system. I would think that would be a necessity at the power levels mentioned in all of the stages, especially stages 1.5-2?

Yeah if you read the other page I mentioned that I will be asking Turbonetics to include that as I'm sure it would be more then worth it.

I would have a laugh at the irony if the unichip was the EMS of choice:

I read that, but the lists posted above seemed to be the most updated info. I hope it does include at least an APS type fuel return if not a CJM or AAM type.

I can assure that whatever EMS is used Turbonetics won't try to monopalize the customers and industry by only having a few "authorzed tuners" and making them pay exhorbatent rates just to have the rights to tune a Unichip. Nor would they cut off support for customers that went to a tuner of their choice like APS.

IF TN decides on the unichip, any unichip tuner can tune it, just like any unichip tuner can tune an APS kit. Do you realize that maybe those have an APS kit may want a more expeirenced 350z/APS/unichip tuner and might drive a little farther to find one?

In terms of support, APS does not directly support customers. I have had good support from my APS dealer (GRD) and they have not cut off support because I installed my kit and had an issue. On top of that, what I paid for my tune was cheap, even if I factor in a 400 mile trip each way to get it done.
