In terms of support, APS does not directly support customers. I have had good support from my APS dealer (GRD) and they have not cut off support because I installed my kit and had an issue. On top of that, what I paid for my tune was cheap, even if I factor in a 400 mile trip each way to get it done.
What I am referring to is others customer who went to non-APS dealers to get their Unichip tuned and were told APS would not help them with their issues. Yes they are out there. And since when did APS condone taking your car to a non-APS dealer to have the Unichip tuned. I know there are a TON of shops out there that can tune a Unichip but no APS guys go to them. Theres two in SD alone. Being an APS dealer doesn't mean the shop has more experience in Z tuning. AAM is not an authorzied APS dealer last time I checked but they can tune Unichip and have tuned TONS of Zs on all kinds of EMS's. Does that mean I shouldn't go there if I have an APS kit?

I am not saying that at all. In fact, that is what I am saying. I also want to state that some people will go out of their way to have a certain person/shop tune their car. Not becaue they have to, but they feel that it is worth it. Even if a local tuner had the means to tune unichip, I still would drive to GRD, Brainstorm, etc for a tune rather than risk it for convience sake.

Just an FYI story:

When I was getting my car tuned at GRD, there was a person that had just had his (APS ST 350Z) car tuned at AAM that drove almost 800 miles to have his car retuned by Tuan at GRD. He didn't feel AAM tuned his car properly.

Thats completely understandable and I agree there are only certain places I would let tune my car. But finding a Unichip tuner is easier then finding a place that is almost mandated by the kit manufacturer. And I don't think a shop should have to pay a premium just to say they can tune your kit if they are a competent tuner and already have the Unichip software.

Running a bigger MAF pad and MAF have been discussed but no one has check for compatibility of any other ones yet with the Z although I can tell you Jhame has looked at it for Stage II.

I hope they decide against Unichip, primarily due to the investment required to become a Unichip dealer, and tune the cars.

Any updates, as to whether or not TN has decided to include a return fuel system?

I discussed the return system with Reggie this morning. I think they are looking into it now...I should have some more info later this week. As for the EMS like I said its still up in the air...
