So I was up at Turbonetics today and was discussing some things about the clear demand for a piggyback and some bigger injectors with their kit. Turbonetics has decided to produce Stage 1.5 for the Turbonetics kit. I wish I had a price for it but its in R&D as of today. The Stage 1.5 upgrade will include a user tunable EMS system (piggyback style but no cutting splicing, plug and play style
) and some bigger injectors (most likely 510cc drop in plug in). With this you can take the boost and car up as high as the stock motor will allow (high 400s). This will of course be fully tested on no less then three cars starting next week. More info to come. You guys asked for it and Turbonetics is doing it...

I have the turbonetics kit, still haven't installed it. Think it might be possible to trade the new injectors from my kit for the new ones, and get a discount on whichever piggyback they go with due to not getting my ecu reflashed through them ?

Even the BEST fulll standalone engine management systerm in the world is going to be fighting the dropping fuel pressure at the injector nozzle, and the tuning issues that result from that approach.
It's great they are in the R&D phase, so hopefully they will be open to some additional ideas. I wouldnt be surprised if they are already thinking along these same lines.

MIA, what type of engine management setup are they going with? (if you're allowed to tell
)
my plans for the coming year include a UTEC, an AAM fuel return system, and finally the Turbonetics kit, and capped off by a solid tune by my local dyno tuner MRC Motorsports
