Hold your B.S. buttons, but the reason is most likely a air charge with more moisture due to their being on a island. Less likely to detonate, more ignition advance, more HP. It's just like in the states when everyone runs a little bit faster at Maple Grove, PA. due to all the trees providing more oxygen.

im not PR but more than 80% of the people i race with are and they can build killer cars over there in PR like someone said when the pan american thing goes down in atco.. US. VS. PR that includes PR's living here running on the us side PR usually wins but i forget the record.. and parts that we get here can cost double over there they are hard core over there but remember they setup and tune these cars for drag racing (idont know about this specific car) but others i have seen they give less than 2 ***** about streetability from my experiance guys i met from overthere..
