that video was posted on the drag section quite a while ago.
Lots of questions, no timeslip and well, it's the puerto rico track. I have never seen another track in the world that has produced so many "fastest in the world" cars...
Not saying he didn't hit it obviously he did but how he got there and if he would be able to hit this anywhere else outside of pr is questionable.
great run though

Let me give you an example, my G35 ran the 1/4 back in 2003 on 14.6@98mph completely stock, I believe that's the same as any state side track sea level. Now it runs 11.3@128 with 626whp.
Another one, Big Valley's STI ran the same time on the states as in PR, 10.4sec on street tires (now is running 9.6@142mph on race tires)
BTW PR team always does the same times or better at the Pan Americans Nationals at Atco Raceway, New Jersey. Grab the Jan and Feb 06 Turbo mag and learn some PR racing history,
Merry Xmas

The Z ran the 10.9 at what everyone calls the slowest of the three tracks do to high humidity and poor traction on the north east side of the island (rains almost every day)

That's sick. Stock block or built block. I haven't seen any street driven 350z in the 10's yet. I’m not saying that there are not any guys on here with the power to go 10's but none have driven there cars into the 10's. Nice run!!!

I thought the car was at 462 rwhp during the 10.97 run???

I'm not calling bull**** but over the years PR tracks have always reported dramaticly faster times than any other track which leads me to believe that the track either goes downhill a bit (which still could make it NHRA certified) or the weather conditions are just the best in the world for drag racing. Or a combination.
Only thing that bugs me is that they never post timeslips which would be something great for us to analyze to help out with our times since based on your statement I take it that PR teams are just simply better than anyone else....if that is the case then teach us how to be better racers...

i dont know about the 350z guys in PR but the RSX guys over there post slips all the time. they also have the fastest 1/4 mile times in the world for the rsx (street driven). it muct be weather/traction differences.
