The unichip is a fine solution for my current numbers -> 450 rwhp and 480 rwtq @ 14psi tapered to 11psi at redline. To go higher, I would want more control than the unichip provides - not that the unichip wouldn't be fine with a reflash of the ECU for larger injectors
I had no idea the TS reflash was so expensive. I'm not so sure about getting it done now. I'll probably just do what you did and max out the current setup until I decide on another EMS.

G3PO is right. I'm running 650s and the boys at Z-Car Garage say it's purring like a kitten. Now, if they'd clear the mudslides and re-open the freeway, I'd go pick it up. We got 3 inches of rain yesterday while Oklahoma is burning.
Go figure!

Bruce is currently running the Unichip and a Profec B. The APS solenoid was replaced due to its sluggishness. Of coarse the resulting "extra snappy" TQ rise results in extra wheel spin if not light on the throttle.

Gotta recharge the bank account. UTEC is going to have to wait until next round. I haven't done a plenum, big exhaust, stereo upgrade, or bodykit either.....

If my BMW motorcycle sells, I'm going nuts on the car(like I haven't already!)

Thumbs up Update time

The motor is finally broken in, and the car got a little dyno time today. For some reason, at 16 psi, the fuel/throttle is cutting out around 4300 rpm. Tuan is going to mess with it some more tomorrow and try to figure it all out. Anyway, here are some preliminary numbers he came up with today:

550 rwtq at 4000 rpm
440 rwhp at 4300 rpm

After that, the ecu cuts fuel and throttle.

p.s.
Just wanted everyone to know that Tuan is awesome; he came in today on his day off, and stayed late just to try to get my car finished so I can pick it up Friday.

Straight to 16psi....I love it!

I cant recall..forgive me...are you using the Unichip to tune this? How is the Unichip liking those 650cc injectors at idle?

I am using the Unichip, and after the TS reflash for the larger injectors, the idle is fine as I understand it.

Any ideas why the sudden fuel and throttle cutoff? Maxed out MAF?

Congrats! Awesome numbers! I assume you mean 550rwhp, correct? Tuan is the man and a good guy. I hope to get back there this year and have Tuan turn up the boost on my stock block to achieve 500whp.

Nope; 550 torque, 440whp. Remember, these numbers are right before the ecu cuts fuel and throttle at only 4300rpms. Once we get that MAF situation figured out, I'll continue to make more power to 7000 rpms or higher. They're not final numbers by any means.

My God! 550rw torque?! You'll need a wide body kit for the widest tread to handle that kind of torque!

I was thinking the same think. You car is building boost so quickly, you might have to play with the MAF clamp. I am sure Tuan will figure it out.
