Can someone please explain boost gain? Does adjusting gain control how fast/slow the solenoid opens the WG?

Gain is how fast you want you PID loop to control your solenoid. If you set the gain to low, it will take your system forever to come up to you boost set point. If the gain is to fast, you system will go way over your set point, then over react and go way under, and start a big osolation around your set point. There is an ideal range of gain for your system. You just need to play to find it.
