Default Heads up on Turbonetics Single Turbo G35 install

We just did one and from the install of the ac line you have to be extra careful with it routing. It is different than the 350Z in location and length and you need to make sure it is as far away from any heat as possible.

The car we did the install on had the line melted on the dyno after just a couple of runs, the heat wrap looked ok but the hose just melted.

Reggie at TN was great and is getting us another line out, we will see how to make sure it is clear.

Just FYI for anyone doing an install on a G35

Thank you for sharing. My car is getting the kit installed tomorrow. I'm actually suppose to be driving out in 2 hours to get it installed. Long drive up. =/ It pays to be a late night junkie.

Yea, routing of this line is important. I had mine melt on the dyno also. Did Reggie say you needed to run it under that bracket and secure it to the dipstick guide also? It's a bit harder to do this on the G compared to the Z.

Sorry guys but the owner of the car was unhappy and threatened to sue so I cannot post any info, all I can say is that we replaced it for free and no issues that I know of.

Sue? What is going on here? You fixed his problem for free, why can't he let you share some knowledge?

this probably should have been kept off the boards. Sounds like an issue between customer and shop..
