Default Nismo lifter springs

I have the Nismo cams and lifter springs . Im going to be running 16psi or near there with the new set up [ Vortech T-trim ] Does any one know what the spring rate is for them , off the top of thier head ? I've heard the stockers are 35lb's and know the Nismo's are stronger , but how much ? And do you think they will be strong enough for the psi and 7000rpm's ?

Thanks Bill

any machine shop should be able to test them for ya. but first you need to know the installed height. sorry don't know off hand though.

Nismo springs have been shown to float stock valves at or around 7600 rpm - https://my350z.com/forum/na-builds/159519-photos-on-engine-rebuild-n-a-2.html post #26.
Not sure of the affects of boost. I would think that 7000 rpm would be safe but have no proof.

Bill,

Forgive my confusion. Are you referring to Nismo cams and valve springs?

AT 7000rpm, you will be fine with any reasonable amount of boost. Resolute (mechanical engineer) talks about it in the super-nerdy-thread about trq, interia, and stress.

Thanks Sharif...thats where I got it from . 99.9% of that was over my head , but I got a little of it , when talking about the boost effecting the spring rates of the valve springs . And wanted to ask about
