Seeing as how he is comparing to others cars flywheel numbers, Id assume he added 15-17% drivetrain loss to his whp numbers for his calculations. Could be wrong though....

Nice company your in in there Jet

That was my first thought too. That would put me at roughly 510bhp right with the Viper and the F430's lbs/hp 6.6 or so.

+1

Anyone making around 375whp will equal 450hp with a 17-20% drivetrain loss.

Nice, very nice group to be in... m u s t get the Vortech soon

Hi all,

Yeah these are Flywheel #'s. I dyno'd 385 rwhp. I took into account a 15% loss. There are alot of factors to take into account in figuring acceleration. All wheel drive cars on the list such as the Diablo, Porsche 911, etc.... have higher drivetrain losses thats should be considered also. Torque is an important factor to consider in acceleration. But at this level all these cars have massive torque as well. My car is putting out 440 flywheel ft lbs. Just a hp per lb comparison.

Don't worry Kelly.... you're still ahead of me.

...or pray that the cars on there don't choose to mod a 911 TT with some very very simple bolt ons is a deep 11, high 10 second car all day long. A Z06 with some fairly straight-forward mods is another insane car

good company for sure

A new Z06 will EASILY spin through third gear on full throttle application with the skid/traction control turned off...

Not many RWD cars with over 400hp to the wheels hook easily at all without Drag radials or slicks...
