Default 510 Injectors... Where To Buy

Does anyone know where to buy 510 injectors. Turbonetics doesn't have them.

Not sure if these would work, but evo8's come with 550cc injectors stock. if you arent averse to used injectors you could always pick them up.

and im not sure if they are compatible or not, someone should know though.

you could prolly send a set of stockers to rc engineering and have them open 'em up to that flow or better.

Technically they are the same as PE 510s but you will pay a premium for the name... wonder if the 510s come stock in any car. For instance the 380 cc Densos come stock in an STi.

www.deatschwerks.com makes high flow 350z injectors. Not sure if the have updated their site to reflect that fact or not, but I have installed a set of them on a few cars, including a TT 350z. They are top notch.

I don't trust rebuilt injectors. Probably out of ignorance. Maybe someone can convince me I'm an idiot and rebuilt injectors are OK. Also $350 for rebuilt injectors is a lot of money for just labor. I'm worried about spray pattern.

PE 510's are $150 each. I got a few minutes of laughter from that. Thanks PE.

Read the thread on here about deatschwerks injectors it has alot of answers, it is a sticky posted by wazowski (not sure if it's still a sticky). Deatschwerks is extremely reputable, has sold thousands of injectors in the RB/SR community, they have specific tunes for their injectors developed for SRs and RBs by both Enthalpy (widely regarded as THE premier SR20DET romtuner) and JWT. I've got them in my car, 400+ to the wheels, briguymax has them in his car, 460 to the wheels, tons of SR and RB people putting those kinds of numbers out with them, etc. I don't know what else to say other than these sorts of things to convince you. You won't find a better, more consistent flowing injector, spray pattern and atomization is optimal. The injector reports speak for themselves.

Almost every single high flow injector out there started life as a stock injector of some sort and was modified to flow more, sometimes a brand new injector, sometimes used injectors. APS injectors, Nismo injectors, Deatschwerks injectors, PE injectors, etc. You're paying $350 for a completely rebuilt and cleaned, statically and dynamically flow tested injector with individual injector report for each injector. I don't really know what else to say on the subject. If you're still not convinced after reading the glowing reviews of DW injectors on all the SR and RB boards then I don't think anything'll convince ya, at least not anything I can say since I'm not an injector expert, though I have learned quite a bit about them through the research I did prior to buying mine

I found that thread that wazowski posted, with lots of good info in it, some of which goes over my head, but you can tell they know what they are doing.

+1 on the DW. You will know exactly what each injector flows. You can put the injectors that flow the most on the "lean" cylinders of our motor. Just an idea.

Just curious as to why you went with 440's?

I have a set of RC 440's that I was getting ready to have installed but I am thinking of going with 510's or 550's now instead. I am told that the 440's maxed out on a friends ATI car around 400hp. Are 550's too big for use with a stock motor and looking for low 400's rwhp (410-430whp would be cool)?

I am using 440's in my car and have no problems at 8.5psi and 450whp. But I also have a CJ Motorsports Fuel System.

You can always use RC 550's and just add the harness clips. They are $550 for the set.
