I have a Cat Back Nismo Exhaust. There's no HP gain from that. I also have JWT Cams. We're not sure what if any gain those provide as we didn't get a chance to baseline (Cams were already in before I got the JWT TT).

Yes I had a Stillen SC Kit before this. The other run you see on that Dyno (the dotted lines) was my Stillen run before I added the Methanol/Water injection. A bit of a difference huh???

Cams have gained people as much as 20 WHP with a turbo kit. And that exhaust should have gained you some down low tq...

Yeah, I'm sure I'm getting a few from the Cams. I know for a fact the exhaust has no effect (other than sound) as I dyno'd before and after that installation. fit was dual 3" all the way back (like SFR's) I'm sure I would notice some nice increase.

Nice numbers, nice car.... what was the most you ever dyno'd on your stillen kit? After methanol injection, etc.... highest dyno.

Mike,

I will give you a half a lap headstart at ButtonWillow when my G gets finished and see if your Yellow Bunny can outrun what the Big Bad Wolf and VRT are making in the lab. Going to be fun.

Seriously, it has been awesome watching your car evolve from the 20 Inch Chrome, the Stillen, and now the JWT TT. Loved being a part of your sick car. BTW, that Dyno is bombay. With the JICs, Nismo LSD, JWT TT, AP Brakes, and racetires, your car will be as fast as they get on the race tracks.

You should be a proud daddy of that baby!

M

The kit is still a Prototype so I can't talk about pricing as I have no idea. I'm sure you can email Jim Wolf Technology or call for pricing. I don't want to try and speculate on that one.

Everything. Computer (with a perfect tune already installed ready to go), Intercoolers, FMU ... everything you need. I'm no mechanic but I do know that we didn't have to buy anything else except for new coolant and oil, LOL.

Great numbers homie, but that's not an out the box setup. wa2good said these are the numbers for the jwt kit when its released and thats not true. your numbers are from the jwt plus cams and exhaust. i just wanna dyno numbers from an vq motor with just the kit. hell, i could pull 400 plus horses if i installed cams on my f/i motor.

So the question is...

How long before I can go to some website and type in my credit card number and a week later have the UPS guy asking me what the hell I bought?

1. Read the Sport Z magazine summer 05 article testing 6 different turbo kits. MSRP for the JWT TT kit listed there, write up, & dyno numbers provided.

2. Now we got 2 dyno pulls from 2 different cars on same type of dyno for a JWT kit. First was the SZM test, running higher boost, higher numbers & now this car with lower boost and cams. The more cars with the kit being tested and dyno's being done, the more accurate picture everyone will have with the expected performance of the kit. No worries, the kit is not being sold offically to the public yet so this is all good info for consumers to make the choice of which kit fits their goals and needs. Remember, many of these kits have strengths, you as a consumer have got to decide which kit matches your budget and performance goals.

NO RECOGNIZABLE LAG...It is JWT engineering, quick spool, and efficient airflow the Garrett GT28 ball bearing turbos with the 53mm compressor produce. They spool almost instantly for they are smaller than most turbos - and they quiet simply are newer technology - opposed to some turbos still on the market that are 30-year-old technology. The NON-BUILT VRT cars we have designed recently pull like my ZO6 Corvette yet are TT Zs and Gs, and not 400 HP V8s.

NOTE: I have had other TT systems using T3s and there was definitely lag until around 3200-3500 rpm. Hell my EVO VIII Single Turbpo had lag until 4350 RPM. I have also experienced numerous SC systems and this JWT TT set-up has an initial pull like a SC yet the long power band and great pull throughout that TTs offer.

Not to knock SC systems or other TT systems with larger turbos, yet, the JWT set-up has worked for our VRT and our customer needs.

IMPORTANT: These smaller turbos have less maximum airflow than other larger turbos, which of course limit their peak WHP to 475-510 (built motor recommended) and 500-550 lbs of torque. However, that is plenty for most people on the Road or Track.

Warmly,

Michael

Exhaust has NO effect (I know this for a FACT as I have said) and the cams may be adding AT THE MOST 15 on both HP and TQ. Do the math and you have the numbers your looking for. I think out of the box reffers to no tune and 6.7psi of boost off the wasteagates. I think it's funny how much wieght people put in to Cams. They are not going to make or break your numbers. Hell a hot *** day would have more effect on your Dyno numbers than Cams would. Don't mean to sound aggresive, but the little add ons that I have are not THAT relevant.

wa2good can say what he likes, but if you want to know about MY car, I would be more than glad to answer any questions you have.
