vortech owners, help
just have to ask, how do you guys get your air filter out, i haven't cleaned mine since i got it (like 10,000 miles). is there an easy way.
also my mass air flow sensor went out, my car was cutting out very bad when i would go pass 2500 rpms the car would stutter bad, very very bad and my check engine light came on. my friend who put the s/c in ran the codes that came up with the mass air flow sensor and two for fuel sensors, i don't know what they are. he said that it had to do with the air flow sensor and he reset the ecu and it ran perfect after that. has anyone had this problem?

I ordered a G35 filter for my Vortech Z (G35 filter is smaller) and trimmed the edges of the frame so I could sqeeze the filter in. I clean mine about every 6 weeks. I'll try to get pics up.

As a reminder, you've got to clean the blower oil nozzle every 3K--with each oil change. The narrow orifice in the nozzle has the potential to clog. That will cause instant bearing melt down in the blower. See the Vortech manual for details on this.
