Default Zeitronix Troubleshoot

Got my car back yesterday with the TN install. I had the Zeitronix digital gauge installed with EGT/Wideband/Boost.

I was driving the car today and the gauge froze up on me.. It's displaying the same values.. Won't update with new #'s. I've shut off the car and checked my control unit and the wiring seems fine? I mean it's just a phone line looking wire and a Cat 5 wire!

The display looks like it's working because I can hit the little tab button on the side of the box and it changes over to the other display.. Just the information/data isn't updating.. Keeps saying the same damn thing.. even right after booting it up...

Anyone know what's up with it?

It did it to me too . I believe I just unplugged the display and plugged it back in . Then turned the ignition back on and it was fine

The only bad thing about the Ztronix is you have to email him if you trouble . He is prompt though , about returning email

Had a similar problem. I would say it is your Zt-2. The small box that the telephone line from your display connects to or allows you to do your datalogging. Plus, all your sensors feed back in to.

Don't know how long you have had the unit, but there is a limited warranty. I believe it is 6 months. If you are within the warranty you will be asked to return the unit for repair/return. Or, order a new Zt-2, return the bad unit and get a credit back on your credit card. I would suggest sending an email to: zbigniew@zeitronix.com
