Default Turbonetics Flash

Ok, a bunch of headaches since install. Right now I am running the TN Flash. I am still waiting on my Greddy EU tune. But that won't be for another couple weeks. Anyways, right now, my flash is acting up.

Rough idle, extremely rich when running, ESPECIALLY at WOT. My oil reeks of gasoline. I just got an oil change and flush last week because of the same rich problem. During idle, my wideband stays around mid 15's then goes beserk to the 18's and recovers to the mid 15's. After reving up and hold steady at 2k the wideband goes to 16's for the first few seconds then gets a little more rich till 13's. When I release, idle stabilizes BUT A/F does not immediately return to 14.8. Takes a couple seconds and the ECU idles around 14.5-15.2, which is more acceptable.

Then I take it for a drive, runs around 12's partial throttle, then runs below 9's on WOT. Stalls when I clutch in at 3k RPM.

I tried resetting the ECU through pedal method becuase I lack any and all tools up here in college. That did not work. Same thing happens.

What the heck is wrong?! Please tell me everything and not hold back anything no matter how painful, like your car is going blow up any second now... =/

Well, if you're still throwing codes like you posted in your other thread, then the response given there could very well be a good starting point...

My car does the exact same thing you described above. Have you noticed when it gets lean it starts to idle really rough then you give it some gas it gets richer and gets smoother? When its doing its very lean ide problem the car almost sounds like its misfiring. Good luck getting the issue resolved I feel your pain. Im saving for a UTEC and other goodies now, I dont really like the ECU controlling the car anymore.....

Didn't get a dyno with the flash. Everything was perfect till yesterday night. I dynoed with the Greddy EU without flash. That didn't work out because my car had a lot of trouble starting. Stock ECU kept spraying too much fuel so I had to reflash and run without the EU.

Damn it, that's rough. I also get the P0300 code. But this wasn't the first time I got it. I threw that code since day 3. And yes, the car does sound like the car is misfiring. =/

if its running rich, the afrs show those high numbers, something's wrong with the afr gauge or there's a massive exhaust leak somewhere

They had the scanner in. They showed me some data on the printout and they suggested that the MAF was the culprit.

Ok MAF was changed. HUGE difference. Car is on target with AF during idle and WOT. Before I changed MAF, car was running in the 9's at WOT. After I got the problem I stated in my first post, I was running upper 9's and lower 10's during partial throttle. With the new MAF, at WOT AF sticks around 11.1-11.2. The old MAF I got back is kinda oily and that may have caused all the problems I had before. Right now, I'm all smiles. I don't know why but it seems like the car pulls harder and the BOV is noticeably louder... *shrugs maybe just too happy
