Default Yo Tig or anyone else that replaced the APS BOV

Im changing the APS BOV to the Greddy RS. Those of you that have done this did you weld the flange on the APS intake? Or were you able to find a cupler?

my new BOV used the same silicone coupler, so i used the one APS had. there is one out there that can be bought that attaches to the HKS SSQV, it has the circular flange then has the 1 inch pipe, so that you can use the coupler, how does the Greddy mount up?

if you dont want to weld something on, you can buy this, its so you can use the silicone coupler, and mount it just like the aps bov.

no need, the bov is placed before the MAF...so that vented air is never accounted for to begin with

exactly,

of course on the APS they say removing the recirc will cause hesitation, since the extra air isnt sent into the intake charge pipe between shifts, but mine hasnt hesitated once.

beastie, you recircd the Greddy BOV? did you ever order the wastegate.

oh yeah, i looked inside my resonator on my JIC single exhaust, inside the resonator it tapers to about 2 inches in diameter, terrible bottleneck thats gotta be killing the boost, when i get my car running im taking it to get cut out.
