Default Oil Cooler Mounting?

anyone tried remounting the power steering cooler somewhere else and mounting the oil cooler there? heres a pic o how my setup looks now. need to find a better place to mount it.. got a new front bumper coming with an intercooler opening so it needs to look sweet!


btw car is up and running build was complete.. thanks MRC. just need to break it in then change oil and go get a tune give me a few weeks and ill post some numbers

Anywhere you put it, you will have to fab up some brackets. I recomment you never mount an oil cooler upside down line that, it creates air pockets when you shut the car off which delays oil delivery to the motor at start up.

thanks for the info.. ill fix that when i get home in a week or so..how easy is it to fab a bracket? can i just pick up some crap from home depot and give it a shot?

check chebostos post about his cooler, he did a custom bracket, it worked out well and looked awesome. whats that black container to the left of your intercooler by the power steering cooler, my G doesnt have that. and why is your bumper cut off on that side. i think those fittings on the oil cooler are too low for the plastic to fit.

hmmm i dont know what it is i think its the washer fluid.. and i have no idea why my bumper is cut back like that... and the fittings are upside down i guess the oil cooler is upside down so ill straighten that out..

I ditched the windshield washser bottle, (replaced it with a smaller bottle) and mounted my oil cooler there - I have the Greddy front bumper and the oil cooler sits directly behind the left opening in the bumper...
