I think I understand what what you are saying. The factory lower manifold would not be able to be machined exactly like our velocity stacks. although this a pretty neat idea, and I hadn't thought of it. I will look into this when I get to work. It is always nice to give our customers options.

Hi Charles...

Have you guys though of using Weber-style trumpets/bellmouths (like the one seem instead of the bellmouth with the full rolled edge? It is said that Weber-style bellmouth is more effective than the others...

Weber-style trumpets (picture to show what style it looks like)

And also with your prototype that I refered to (the one with 3 holes on top), how do you cover those three holes? I will be interested in that prototype though.... nice looking one!

Thanks charles!

cheers,

richie

richie, that style trumpet serves a different purpose then what we are trying to do with our manifold... also there is no space for that unless you want to run a raise hood?

if you want something like that, to build it would be a piece of cake, but we need somethign that fits under a stock hood with factory throttle location as a production item.

everyone wants ITBs but i dont think they realize how much money and time it would cost for it to work properly, plus the added headace and problems it will cause. Im not pointing at anyone on this thread just my opinion

i know this is in the FI forum but how would this pertain to the NA guys? Are there gonna be any gains to be seen with this on NA cars? Actually, to make it more exact, how will this compare with the crawford penlum and MD spacer?

I just wanted to congradulate Charles (and company) at C-J Motorsports for making such a nice manifold. He really knows his stuff, and would reccomend using his products to everyone. I have spoken to him on numerous occasions and believe him to be a true asset to the 350z community. Cant wait to put the manifold to the test on our street cars....

Peace,
Nick
