I think it's going to be a whole intake manifold, replacing the upper and lower plenum, right?

HOLY MOLY....

Charles... please keep me posted on the project mate!!! I would want to test your product out all the way to 8000rpm

Love this manifold cover too... will the finished product comes with this too? It will be great to keep the throttle body @ the standard position though... so everyone can just use that without changing their intake pipes

cheers,

richie

If you look at the pics on the 2nd page of the chicagoz thread, it needs a few more hours on the CNC to smooth it out and finish the inside of the runners, oh yea and drill the holes around the outside flange.

saturday we are going to build a test version of the upper plenum for it and then we will work on getting it run on a few cars. once its all good, we are going to cast it all out of aluminum. right now its all CNC so we can change the specs as needed to perform how we want.

Soo... How about CJM loan me the manifold? You know just to get a feel for it and all. Plus, you can see what it can do on the 06' models. It's a win win situation. AHAHA, great job BTW

The new top will not look anything like that. That fabricated version was one part only... the new one is 2 parts and has a flange around the outside. On the fabed one, those 3 caps are how you get inside to put the hardware in or take it out.

the new top is more smoother and contoured and puts the throttle is precisely the stock location. If you prefer the fabbed one... it will most likely be for sale eventually.. but I would have to give you the low down on it first. its fully functional and ready for use, has been for months... just never actually tried it.

We will also be offering fully custom tops... so there is going to be a standard production version, and then we will make any changes for one offs for people... we are setup to be able to do this to meet anyones needs. So if you have your own custom specs you would like, let me know and we can build you one right now and ship it whenever.
