I would Think that we could add abit of styling once we get to the cast top, when we are not limited by fabrication processes. We could basicaly make a scupltured wooden top and have it casted. Did I mention that I have Pattern and model making backround also.
This project has been alot of fun. I do have quite abit of hours logged into this. Hours that I dont care to count.

Once we have it cast, then the price is going to be super good. Im sure whatever I told you was in the range. It will be competitive... we already plan on keeping it priced very competitively.
We wouldnt want the copy-cats to show up too soon and undercut us.
As for right now... anyone looking to purchase a fully CNC'd and fabricated can do so right now. But lead time is 2-3 weeks and pricing would be about $500 more then it will cost after we cast it.

We are going to have this whole thing casted (Top and lower). We beleave that this will be the only way to be competitve in this market. We will be offering a couple different versions threw out the growth of this project. Even once we get the casting done and in production, We will still offer the billet machined peice at an added cost of course. We think that we will be able to provide custom services for the cusomers that have these needs. Again this will be an added cost as well.

thanks for the update charles!
That intake manifold looks beautiful! I would say the twin throttle setup is the way to go because your intake manifold definitely needs a lot of air and if the user still uses the single factory throttle, it will be the one restricting the power I would say... (at least that's my case at the moment)...
And the N/A 350z that you are testing on should give us a good indication of how well it will perform on the highly tuned n/a z too... best of luck!
cheers,
richie

we will see how it goes richie.
i hope you buy one!
last week i talked to a Motec tuner that tuned some 350zs using the DBW and he said he had no trouble getting it to idle. He knew your tuner, Simon, and appraised him highly. If you would be interested in flying this fellow I know out there to setup the idle let me know and I can put you in touch with him.
