ok, i was actually able to find this thing on the net. it has stuck in my mind since i first saw it when i was 9 years old, lol. (yes i have been a car freak since i can possibly remember) i actually still have a few magazines with this thing as the feature car. truely one of a kind, and this car is held as THE car that started the whole pro street craze during the eighties and early nineties.

i have always liked my stuff to be different, and as far as i know, this will be the first dual f/i Z. it is shearly for aw factor really. that and the Z does have room to put a lower blower crank pulley without much modification.
i have done alot of reading on the 6-71 specs, and at 10 psi it takes about 55hp to run it. honestly, the power used to run it is nothing in comparison to the potential. the pro modified guys running 2000-2500hp run the same style blower and they take 500hp to run at their boost pressures. there is so much volume output especially for the vq35 that i would be running it at a pretty low underdrive (slower than the crank rpms) and not make much heat but get alot of hp and responce. i'm imagining the turbos will spool very quickly on the bottom end also as the blower will be drawing through them at lower rpms.

If I recall correctly, the STI that did the dual charger thing spooled a GT35R turbo by 2200 rpm's full boost. I bet you could expect to upgrade to 20g turbo's and have some damn near if not any turbo lag with such a setup. Would be a sick setup indeed.

if stillen made a tuner kit, it would be the perfect set up because they already built the blower inlet that could be used with any turbo kit. but if someone knows how to set stuff like this up and has access to some good equipment it really is pretty simple to do if you alreay have all your engine management and other things needed for a solid turbo install.

looks like i have a lead on an intercooled stillen set up. after talking with rick dobbertin, the guy who i originally saw do this in '81 on the big block nova, i found out that running 6psi on the turbos and 2 psi on the blower will net 12psi not just 8psi. so in that case the stillen will be able to flow enough, it will just take more hp to turn it. no biggy though.

i like the stillen roots style over the other larger roots style for the fact i plan to do some autocrossing this summer and anything taller will make seeing the cones near impossible.

i was originally thinking of the stillen/ eaton unit, but i don't feel it will work properly at high rpm's. so i am using a blower that will flow alot more than the turbos. plan is to run the turbos to about 5-6psi, then the blower at only about 2-3. there will be so much volume coming out of the blower i will not need to run it hard at all. all my lag will be gone and the bottom end should be insane, not to mention the mid when both really start coming on!!!!! this should be some truely road warrior type stuff, hahaha.
